Feel the sun, Feel the sun on my nape. Down by the river, On a rock, have a break. Close Babylon’s phone, Spy microphone. Blooming inside, Breathing all alone. On my own. On my own. I’m in awe. On my own. I’m singing on my own Healing my lonely song It feels like, Like the first time. I’ve let my joy, Be reborn on a rhyme. It’s a foolish game, That jog in the acid rain. No whim for toys, On my aeroplane. In this place, In this place of solace, No need to join in, The chariot race. I sit quietly, Near the mango tree, One with it all, Singing on my own.

about

Second part of the trilogy in progress, after "Dérivé" this ep evokes and invites to introspection to pursue a path of serenity. The languages are Creole and, with the complicity of Jule Japhet, English; the Caribbean rhythms and bluesy folk. The bèlè drum of Boris Reine Adélaide makes his entrance in a soul jazz dressing for the title " Kafoukafou". It is also the opportunity of a vocal encounter with Piers Faccini for the tribute to our grand mothers (Gran Manman). Another encounter with Jowee Omicil and his free flute on "On my Own ". Free, yes, it's still about sharing spaces of freedom in a serene gesture.
